Program Information



The Community Mentorship Program (CMP) is a unique program that provides Native American students interested in health careers the opportunity to interface and engage with Native health sciences students and health professionals.  The program further allows students to explore health careers and build competitive applications to health sciences academic programs.  

Participant Benefits:
  • Increase knowledge of health sciences academic programs, admissions requirements and career paths
  • Exposure to Native college students and Native health professionals
  • Prepare competitive applications and practice interviews
  • Participate in health related volunteer or service learning projects

 The Community Mentorship Program offers four separate program components defined below: 

CMP is now accepting interest forms for students that are interested in participating in the program. Interest forms will be accepted until November 30, 2012.

Seeking Student Mentors! 
 We are accepting interest forms for undergraduate, graduate and professional students pursuing a health related field that are interested in being a mentor for the program.  If you are interested, please complete the interest form.
